Welcome to my website. My name is Sylvia and I am the proud grandmother of a beautiful stillborn baby boy named Elijah. My journey into creating handmade memory mini albums began with a profound sense of personal loss that deeply touched my heart and soul. The grief of losing a grandchild is indescribable, but through it, I found a way to channel my love and sorrow into something meaningful and healing. A Memory Photo Album.
Each album I create will be crafted using retired papers from ‘Stampin' Up!, a company renowned for supporting crafters with their high-quality products. These discontinued papers, no longer in production, bring a unique and special touch to each album, reflecting the irreplaceable nature of the memories they honour. By using these rare and beautiful materials, I ensure that each album is as unique as the child it commemorates.
Stampin' Up! has been a cornerstone in the crafting community, providing exceptional products that inspire creativity and connection. By repurposing their retired papers, I not only bring new life to these exquisite materials but also contribute to a more sustainable world, embracing the spirit of recycling and reuse.
Each Memory album will be crafted with care, compassion, and a deep understanding of the pain and love that families of stillborn babies carry with them. These albums are more than just keepsakes; they are a way to honor the precious memories of little ones who left us too soon. I believe that every baby, no matter how brief their time with us, deserves to be remembered and cherished.
I am actively seeking grant funding to provide as many as I can free of charge to bereaved parents. I believe that every family deserves a beautiful and meaningful way to remember their baby, or child regardless of their financial situation. It is my heartfelt mission to support as many families as possible through this initiative.
Through my work, I hope to offer a small measure of comfort to parents and families, helping them to preserve and celebrate the cherished moments and memories of their beloved children.
